Velva Community Development Corporation (VCDC)

VCDC is a non-profit organization created to encourage and support commercial, industrial and city development in Velva and the surrounding area.  There are no paid employees, all time is volunteered by the directors and members.  Any business or individual in the Velva area can join the development corporation.  Monthly board meetings are held at noon on the second Tuesday of each month at Verendrye Elecrtric Coorperative's meeting room.  

VCDC has loan and grant programs to assist new businesses or new projects in the Velva area.  Funding comes from a portion of the City of Velva's one percent sales tax.  For more information contact Board Chairman, David Kramer.
